DIY WordPress Site Development and PHOTOSHOP TUTORING

I'll teach you how to build a WordPress site and work your WP Dashboard

Your WordPress website has been completely customized and is now live, but you're not sure how to work with the Dashboard. Not to worry -- let me help. I can show you how to edit posts and pages, how to edit the menus, work with the Media Library and more. I can also help you work with plugins: forms, media sliders, scrollers and more. I can also teach you tips and tricks in using WordPress, along with troubleshooting most WordPress issues. If it's an issue that only the theme developer can fix, I can write the trouble ticket for you.

I'll also show you how to actually build your WordPress site using purchased or free themes. I can also teach you the basics of customizing your WordPress website. I've worked with many different frameworks and can even show you how to edit basic CSS (cascading style sheets) for more extensive customizing. I'll show you how to build your sites with integrated page builders like Visual Composer, SiteOrigin's Page Builder and Divi builder, as well as with shortcode.

WordPress is the best, most user-friendly content management system (CMS), but only after you learn your way around. Let me help with that.

Learn the basics of Photoshop

You know a software program is king when its name becomes a verb. You've heard references to "photoshopping" an image, right? That's because Photoshop is an incredibly powerful tool for image optimization and graphics creation; it's pretty much industry standard. It's my favorite software program. In fact, I'm happiest when I'm working with it.

Photoshop's interface appears intimidating at first glance, but it isn't important to learn every feature. You'll learn the basics to get you going quickly: learn about layers (especially Layer Mask, one of the oldest and most powerful tools), dodging and burning, the Clone tool, Levels and more. I've been using Photoshop since 2000 (beginning with version 5.5), so even if you have a pre-CS version, I can show you how to use it.

Also, I'm a cross-platform user: I'm versed in both Mac and Windows. In fact, as a bonus, if you've recently switched from either OS, I can help you transition to your adopted OS: Win to Mac or Mac to Win.
